Modeling and Beyond!

Welcome to the online home of this community.

We are a community of modelers who want more community discussion and peer-mentoring surrounding modeling. We share interesting papers, give feedback on presentations and ideas, share our expertise to other members, discuss challenges we face as modelers, and promote opportunities that may be of interest.

Renee Dale is a postdoctoral scientist at a non-profit plant science center. She is a mathematical biologist who uses mechanistic modeling, probabilistic, and stochastic methods to study how cellular components interact to produce emergent properties and traits in plants. Check out her website, blog, and Twitter. Amogh Jalihal is a postdoctoral scientist at Harvard Medical School. He uses mathematical, computational, and experimental techniques to study metabolism, signaling, and biochemical kinetic networks in yeast. Check out his website, blog and Twitter.
